In August of 1996 Three Mile Limit entered Eclipse Recording to make a studio album with Joe Egan. Though the band had released three self recorded cassettes over the previous two years, this was their first time in an actual studio. Over just three and a half days we recorded, mixed, and mastered a collection of old favorites and brand new songs. Floating Off Somewhere Else was released a few months later and received positive reviews, decent airplay on college radio in New England, and even raised some interest from an independent label. Ultimately this was Three Mile Limit's only CD release and if you didn't purchase a physical copy at one of their gigs or from one of the independent music or book stores that carried it then you've likely never heard it or haven't heard it in years.
This album and all future TML releases are available at Three Mile Limit's own Bandcamp Page which can be found at
